ChickHEN Homebrew - list of applications

We reported yesterday that the PSP-3000 has been unlocked for homebrew applications (but no ISO pirate games). What does that mean? Well, thanks to the ChickHEN homebrew enabler, PSP owners can enjoy some of the interesting programs created for the handheld by independent programmers. PSP 3000 - homebrew loader available

A major breakthrough was achieved in the homebrew community today, as hackers Davee and Bubbletune released a public version of their chickHEN Homebrew Enabler. This hack affects all models of the PSP, including later versions of the PSP 2000 motherboard and the recent PSP 3000, which had proven difficult to unlock. (more…)

Can psp-3000 stand against Homebrew?

Unauthorized hacking of the PSP has been a serious problem for Sony ever since enterprising hackers managed to run unsigned code on the PSP-1000 back in 2005. The ability to revert to an unprotected version of the firmware, and later the ability to install completely custom pirate firmware has enabled some owners to play pirated PSP games downloaded from the internet.
