mimana-iyar-girl-iconAksys Games, publisher of the Guilty Gear games on PSP and BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger on consoles, is bringing a fresh new RPG over from Japan. The company today announced that Mimana Iyar Chronicles will be coming to the PSP in Spring 2010.This PSP game is based on a previously-released PC title and will be available on both UMD and as a digital download on the PlayStation Store. Please note that this list is a work in progress and is subject to change pending official word from Polyphony Digital. While the list shares many similarities with the original Gran Turismo 4 lineup, there have been significant changes in the PSP version. Some Details for LittleBigPlanet

LittleBigPlanet iconWhen Sony’s handheld version of LittleBigPlanet hits the PSP system this fall, it will feature a single player experience very similar to that on the PS3. While they won’t be able to play collaboratively with friends, players will still be able to upload their levels and objects to the Playstation Network and share them with the community. This is on top of 30 new professional levels crafted by Sony’s Cambridge development studio specially for the game. Fat Princess Fistful of Cake It might not be so surprising that Fat Princess is coming to the PSP because, from all indications, the PSN version seemed like it might be well suited for a handheld platform–particularly its multiplayer functionality. Shadow of Destiny is going to psp

Shadow of DestinyKonami has announced that its under-appreciated 2001 gem, Shadow of Destiny, will be getting a PSP port later this year. In Japan, the game was known as Shadow of Memories, and featured a cerebral, time-travelling storyline with multiple endings.
The company has launched a Japanese-language website for the game, which will launch this October 1st. Hopefully an English-language version will be forthcoming as well. (more…)
