Another rumor about LittleBigPlanet

October 1, 2008 – If you’re eager to get your hands on a copy of Media Molecule’s upcoming platformer/creative tool LittleBigPlanet, you might have noticed rumors of a PSP version pop up in the online scene recently. Apparently, talks of a portable companion game have brewed behind the scenes — where LittleBigPlanet enthusiasts could potentially create items or supplement their experience on the go and somehow share that content across the two platforms.

We contacted representatives at Sony Computer Entertainment America for a comment. Their response was fairly standard: “we do not comment on rumors or speculation.” The real inklings of the PSP possibility look to have started over at EuroGamer, where Media Molecule Co-founder Mark Healy revealed during an exclusive interview– according to the article — that they had discussed the possibility but nothing was concrete yet.

We’ll keep you posted if any more detailed information comes down the line.
